I tried different sensors to look if they are compatible with InContol. I am using the Aeotec Z-stick S2. Now I want to clean up and reset InControl and the Z-stick but I can’t get it done….
When I reset the stick and uninstall InContol the stick gives messages to delete the sensors, and I delete al the sensors. When I want to ad the same sensor after reinstalling the stick and InControl it will give the same device number, so somewhere there is still a link! I also removed the zwave.sdf file and linked the Z-stick again, no result.
Now I cannot open the properties of the Z-stick or other devices anymore and get the error (Extended properties are not available for this device). InControl is gives errors and will automatically shut down because of problems. Every time when I open InControl it asks if I want to login into the cloud.

Please can anyone tell me how I really can reset InControl with the Z-stick?

Have you removed the devices from your zstick? If you don't do that, InControl will continue to add them back in when the z-stick sends the info. In my signature, there's a link to download the zensys tools; you could grab those and perform a "Remove failed device" on each of your devces; once that's done, delete your zwave.sdf file and restart InControl and you should be at a fresh network.

After many hours of trying I fot it done, but it was not simple!!.
Now I want to regulate my jacuzzi with the ZME_ITEMP combined with a 10A Smart Energy In-Wall Micro Switch Module but now I have problems with wireless reach. The sensors are app. 11 meters from the Z-stick (the z-stick is placed 1.80mtr high) but I can’t get a stable contact between them. What can be the problem?

If it because the appliance is too far from the usb stick you can get range extenders or when you start to add more z wave devices it will start to create a mesh and work better.

I've seen cases where the USB stick is plugged directly into the computer sitting under a desk. The metal of the computer added interference and the metal duct work in the wall added even more... so it's possible.
